This group meets on Mondays from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Choir Rehearsal Room. There are two studies to choose from:

Prophets and Kings - based on the book by Ray Vanderlaan
led by Stacy Harrington

All ladies are invited to attend.

Classes and Bible Studies are offered on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at various times during the weekdays.

Monday afternoon Women's Study:  Behold the Lamb of God led by Retired Pastor, Charlotte Cowan at 1:00 pm beginning in the Rehearsal Room

Wednesday Evenings:  They Were There led by Teaching Pastor, Kurt Stone at 7:00 pm in the conference room.  Focus on the sermon scriptures for the following Sunday.

Sunday Mornings:  Watching the Disciples:  Learning from their Mistakes led by Nancy Wilson at 9:00 am in the conference room.

Sunday Mornings:  Celebrate the Risen Christ led by Marlene Cummins at 9:15 in room 116.

There will be two training opportunities for anyone that wants to be part of a team to respond to emergencies or to assist with disaster relief.

There will be a one day training course for the Illinois Great Rivers Conference Emergency Action Teams conducted in Waterloo IL on Saturday March 13.  This training is part of UMCOR’s training program and is the initial training for anyone responding to disasters as part of an UMCOR relief effort.

There will also be training for anyone wishing to be part of the Community Emergency Response Team, CERT, here in Troy.  This training is conducted by the Madison County Emergency Management Agency in association with FEMA and is intended to prepare teams for emergency response in our area.  This training will be conducted for 8 weeks and will begin on February 23.  The classes will be conducted at Triad High School in the afternoon for about 3 hours each week immediately after school.  These classes have a limited sign up.  There will also be another 8 week class held in the evening beginning in March in our area.
