The Christmas play this year, Directed by Mark Nelson, is “The Other Wise Man.”  (December 8th, 7:00pm, and December 10th, 3:00pm).  Set in the time of Jesus, this story tells the tale of another wise man who lived his life honoring Jesus.  We are still looking for some help with set set-up and tear-down.  If this is YOUR calling, let me know and we will get you involved!

It is also time to start learning the Christmas music for the concert on December 17th at 3:00pm.   If you would like to be a part of a wonderful musical family and feel first-hand the joy of singing the lovely songs of Christmas, but are unable to make a long-term commitment to the choir, this is for you!  All are welcome.  Rehearsals are Wednesday nights in the rehearsal room upstairs,  and we will start working on Christmas music at around 7:30pm.   Please contact me with any questions:

“What can I give Him,
Poor as I am? —
If I were a Shepherd
I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man
I would do my part, —
Yet what I can I give Him, —
Give my heart.”

Christina Rossetti, In the Bleak Midwinter, Vs.5
