join a ministry 4

If one of the goals of the Christian life is to imitate Jesus, then we need to serve like he did (to find out more about this, read Phil. 2). Part of growing as a follower means using our gifts to serve in the church.  If you are a member of Troy United Methodist Church, then we expect that you will be involved in serving in a ministry.  It’s a way of living out the life of a disciple.  When everyone is serving with their gifts, we begin to shine brightly in the community.  It’s truly the body of Christ at work in the world.

We are counting on this being a personal connection to get involved.  Email the contact and if for some reason you don’t hear back, email or call again! Sometimes there are glitches.  We’re counting on you to work hard to find a place to serve in ministry.
At Troy UMC, there isn’t one weekend or season to connect people to the right ministry.  Every day is a great opportunity to match the gifts of someone to the perfect role in ministry!  Carolyn Catalano serves as the Director of Lay Ministry at Troy UMC and is available anytime to visit with you about your connection and your role!
