David Roderick, Family Minister

Though born in Mississippi (hey y’all), I consider myself a Missourian. I spent most of my childhood in one Missouri town or another and both of my parents are from the Show-me state. I have been married to my beautiful wife Tami for nearly 25 years. We have four children, Brad, Zack, Christian and Tori.

My own family is one of the main reasons I am passionate about family ministry. I love seeing the church team up with families and support them as they raise spiritually healthy children.  david@troyumc.org / 618-667-6241

Corey Johnston, Director of Youth Ministry

Originally from Metropolis, IL, the home of Superman! I got married last year to my wife Andrea, who is a nurse at Children's Hospital in St. Louis. We don't have any kids ourselves, but we have a really awesome puppy named Opie. My main roles at Troy UMC are to lead, guide, and direct the spiritual maturity of both youth and young adults, and do so in a way that helps them understand what the Gospel is all about.  We try to provide students and young adults with a better understanding of what it means to have a "relationship" with Christ by encouraging them to begin to seek out God in a way that will lead to a life changing experience. I love BBQ'ing, listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with my wife and friends. I really love doing pretty much anything that involves being around people. If you have any questions, concerns, or want to get involved in our ministry here at TUMC feel free to call, text, or email. corey@troyumc.org
